Adjustable manhole risers offer many pluses

Milwaukee, Wis., has found big upsides — and very little downsides — to using American Highway Products’ pivoted turnbuckle manhole risers. After a pilot project, the city found that the risers could handle heavy loads without experiencing failures or slips.
