Midwest Security and Police Conference/Expo returned to Tinley Park Convention Center in August, bringing to law enforcement and security officials 21stcentury surveillance, reporting, data management and vehicle technology.
This year’s event co-located with the FBI National Academy Associates training conference at the south Chicago site and provided attendees with a wide variety of educational and training sessions Aug. 20 and 21.
The MSP expo afforded a first look at cutting-edge security solutions like Shadow 300’s eTrak body-attached GPS device for law enforcement and public use. Additionally, Jeff Reit, executive vice president of ProPhoenix, returned to the 2013 show and demonstrated the company’s Online Incident Self Reporting Tool for Municipal representatives. Jamar Technologies’ distance measuring equipment for police and public works caught visitors’ attention as well.
The MSP is a regular stop for The Municipal representatives. If we didn’t get the chance to talk with you this year, please look us up there in 2014.
