Britespan Becomes First Fabric Building Manufacturer in North America Achieve CE Marking
LUCKNOW, ON October 11, 2016 – Britespan Building Systems Inc. (Britespan) has become the first and only fabric building manufacturer in North America to have achieved the CE Marking, indicating excellence in product quality control processes and permitting sale in Europe.
Achieving the CE Marking of fabricated structural steelwork permits Britespan to sell their products in any country of the European Union. “Having the CE Marking helps us assure current and prospective Authorized Dealers, as well as customers, that Britespan is capable of meeting all European building code requirements,” says Ben Hogervorst, President at Britespan.
Britespan’s robust expansion into Europe sets the company apart as a truly world class manufacturer of quality steel framed fabric buildings. This expansion also ensures long term employment for existing staff, and presents new job opportunities for the local community.
“Obtaining this certification demonstrates Britespan’s commitment to quality and expansion into the European markets,” says Ben. “The CE Marking is one more quality assurance certification that guarantees the customer is dealing with a reputable company that has the commitment to deliver a quality product time after time.”
The process of achieving the CE Marking is a thorough and detailed process that makes Britespan a better company overall. As Britespan continues to grow and expand, having the CE Marking brings the company one step closer to obtaining any other quality assurance certifications and requirements necessary to serve customers across the globe.
“The CE Marking makes us even more excited for the future. There are no limitations for how far Britespan can go,” says Ben. The CE Marking of fabricated structural steelwork is also known as BS EN 1090.
